Pick Your "Facts"
I was married to a teacher for 34 years, bless her, and learned an important lesson:
On the question of how our children should be taught in school, there are an awful lot of "experts" out there. Folks who start out with a set of beliefs that they have adopted and then proceed to cherry pick "facts" that fit in with those beliefs.
They then turn around and attempt to dictate to teaching professionals how they should do their job. This has been going on for ever with no end in sight.
These days, there are even more health "experts" around adopting the same flawed practice as the education "experts".
And internet operators have discovered that it can be very profitable to "feed 'em what they want to hear" and are going at it full speed.
Think about it.
